hello all,

im in the military and deployed to afghanistan. i thought that a digital reader would be easier than carrying around multiple books. any tips or help given will be appreciated.

Good to have your company, JB. Do check out the *Which One Should I Buy?* thread before making a decision. Much depends on where you are, where your device is registered and what kind of books -- straight novels or technical work -- you want to read. And in your job, I'd also consider a robust cover to protect the screen. They cost just a few bucks. Best wishes. Stay safe. Neil
