Mobileread produced short story collection
Maybe this has already been suggested, but with all the writer types who hang out here how feasible would it be to produce a short story collection from them? If there are any freelance editors, layout and cover artists, etc maybe you could get them involved too?
Then push it for free here and anywhere else you could have it, and maybe sell it cheap on Amazon to contribute towards site running costs? It would serve as good advertising for the site and everyone who worked on it. |

As I recall, it was posted here but when I downloaded it, there were some formatting issues so I didn't read it all. It was Poe-themed.

Found it. The mobi one doesn't look too bad to me. I take it it wasn't a great success then?

I tried the mobi one just now on Kindle for iPad and it looked okay. Maybe I had the wrong format before.
As I recall, there was great interest when it was being compiled and then barely a ripple when it landed. I contributed a story, myself Enjoyed writing it, but not much seemed to happen once it got done |

Interesting. Maybe it was just too specialized. I mean if it was based somehow on E.A. Poe rather than just by things like length and some basic guidelines of that sort.
