Internal Plucker linking
I am testing everything I do -- and learning as I go! -- using the Plucker Viewer on the Nokia 770, which exhibits a few nonstandard behaviors if not bugs. And I'm using Sunrise, at least for the short term, for reasons I'll go into elsewhere, with the knowledge that it uses an earlier version of Plucker.
So first I need help pinning down where the problem I am having occurs:
I am making an ebook from html files on my computer. In one html file, there's a link to a footnote at the end; there's a corresponding link back to where the footnote occurs. (Nothing fancy: just [1] in the text and
1. The footnote text. Back
at the bottom.) In the Plucker Viewer, these links work fine. I'm able to "link to line," that is, jump to a specific spot within the html file/pdb file. However, when I use two separate html files, the link in html-file1 that's supposed to go to a specific spot in the html-file2 just takes me to the top of that second file (in Plucker Viewer -- works fine in the browser with the source files). To be specific, the link in htm-file1 one looks like this: Jump there and in html-file2: In the canonical Palm-based Plucker Viewer, can I link into the middle of what starts out as a separate file, but is still in the same pdb file? If so, any ideas what might be going wrong here? Thanks, Roger Sperberg |
