Search & Replace - Regular expression
Hi Folks,
I have 181 books I want to change the title of each book by Prepending the tag {Series} to {title} e.g. I start with Original Title: This is the first book which is book 1 of series 'Test' and end up with New Title: Test [1] This is the first book I have searched the forum and the Manual (for 'sub' and Prepend etc) but can't work out what I need. Any suggestions - I started to do the changes by hand, but there is so many, and this is just the 1st set of many too. |

You use search & replace, found in bulk metadata edit.
It can be done in one step by using S/R in regular expression mode. The trick is to use a template as the source field and prepend that to the title. See the attached screenshot for what to put, where. |
