Is there a lazy way to split a "create catalog" csv

I have way more lines of books than the average spreadsheet will accept. Is there an easy way to indicate a maximum number of lines to a "create catalog" request? Or should I be selecting books in chunks?

Is there a way to automate selecting the entire library in sections that would fit into a spreadsheet?

@LadyKate - do you really need a full function spreadsheet, if not try CSVFileView - CSV/Tab-delimited file viewer and converter, it has an option called String Interning that can reduce memory usage on large tables.

Otherwise chunk your library into blocks of say 30,000 books using the Reading list PI, and create csv files for each Reading list. Then discard the reading lists.
