Richard Middleton (1882-1911) was a British poet and author, who suffered from severe depression (then called melancholia) and took his own life in 1911.

Shortly after his death, 3 volumes of poems, a volume of essays, and a volume of short stories appeared, (The Ghost Ship and other stories; with a preface by Arthur Machen; the title story has been reprinted many times). Some years later a further short story collection and a novel appeared.

This seems to be only half the book - up to chapter 9?

EDIT: The same goes for both the Kindle editions.

I can confirm, only half of the 20 stories are in it, the 10th (i.e. #13, in fact, The Conjurer) without title, and there is no TOC. Guess you just uploaded the wrong version.
Anyway, thanks a lot for uploading stories by this author.

I've only been able to locate Ghost Ship and Brighton Road in danish, so I'm looking forward to read this!
