Slippery Clara HD
So I've had my Kobo Clara HD for a couple of weeks now and I'm loving the small form factor and light weight. I'm going without a cover because I want something that will easily slip into a pocket and adding a cover would add half the weight again (at least) of the e-reader. I do find however that the back of the reader is quite slippery, especially in these dry winter months. Any good solutions for this? Maybe some kind of skin on the back or some kind of grip tape? I'm looking for something that I could remove easily without having to worry about cleaning a bunch of gunk off the e-reader. Ideas?

Yep, I can confirm the PlastiDip or any brand of liquid vinyl as described in the thread i_m_sherlocked linked to works really well.

Or you could go this route...
https://www.ebay.com/itm/EEAD-Durabl...:pf:0&LH_BIN=1 Waaayy cheaper. Cant comment on difference in grip between the plastidip and the vinyl, as i havent tried the former. But its way better on my H20 than without it. Just stick it on the back and trim the edges with a razor blade. For a dollar, definitely worth a try. If you like it keep it, if not then go for plastidip. Last edited by ReaLx3m; 12-10-2018 at 03:12 PM. Reason: Edited link |

Yes! Any liquid vinyl brand would work, though. I used FullDip. |
