How can I read cyrillic ePubs on Nook?
Hello,
I am from Bulgaria, and I'd like to ask you guys how to read ePubs on my Nook device. I recently bought my Nook and today tried to put ePub which is in cyrillic (bulgarian) into the Nook. The tittle showed normally "Артър Хейли - Летище", but when I entered into the book all the pages were displaying only "????????????????" signs. I've search into the forum and tried to add some fonts in the ePub but nothing worked for me or at least I couldn't do it myself. I downloaded Calibre but it didn't help me. Please suggest what I should do. I see some users are from Russia, which language is cyrillic as well and that they managed to read ePubs in Russian on the Nook. Please help me. |

Here's a link to the ePub:
http://chitanka.info/lib/text/5775.epub Please someone fix it and upload it so I can download it and see what was changed and what I should change in future in order to get my Nook displaying cyrillic properly. |

Just add a little CSS file into your ePub. This should do it.

Can you please download the file from the link I gave and tell me in which file I should enter this code? Should I enter the whole code or just part of it? Thanks Last edited by NissanMicra; 08-17-2010 at 05:09 PM. |

I didn't try it, but I would put the entire Non-Asian Languages snippet at the beginning of OPS/css/main.css.

Thank you very much! That worked just fine.
Only the few beginning titles in the book are shown as ???? but otherwise all the other text is represented correctly now. |
