Can't update System-no space available
Hi all, I'm trying to install a system update of 1.1Gb but am getting error that not enough space available.
Storage & USB shows: 7 GB used of total 66 GB Android OS 6 (Marshmallow) 4.66 GB Internal storage 2.33 GB used of 3.54 GB SanDisk SD card 53 mb used of 58.53 GB Download& Storage shows: Manage storage 58 GB available Download to SD card checked Auto move to cloud checked I have a Sandisk 64 GB card formatted as adoptable internal storage. So why does the system say I have no space available ? If the card is formatted as internal and not portable storage shouldn't any downloads be able to use the sd card storage? Essentially I have 58 GB available but can't update anything. I am totally frustrated whith this. I am not computer illiterate, but just can't figure this out. Any help would be most appreciated I'm at the end of my rope with this. Thanks in advance Ted :<) |

Try disabling all the google apps (including Chrome) and make sure any apps are moved to the SD Card (I find this is not automatic).
I wind up with 1.47 GB available after that.... |
