EPUBReader on Tablet PC
Hi guys, I'm using a HP TouchSmart tx2-1377nr which is a 12" tablet PC. I was pretty disappointed with most of the ebook reading software out there because more do not handle touch screens well. Either they don't recognize the input correctly or they see moving a finger on the screen as being an attempt to highlight text instead of scrolling up or down.
Firefox actually handles the touch screen well and so EPUBReader is the best that I've seen for smooth scrolling. The text layout is much better than Adobe Digital Editions and and the chapter buttons are large enough that they can be activated with a finger rather than the stylus. Even though it is a one-format application, I've got Calibre and eCub so I can convert just about anything. |
