USB wall charger for KA1
I wanted to buy a usb wall charger for my ereader, but I dont know what are the necessary specs and if it even matters what is the maximum output in watts.
found this on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Anke...dp/B01LCDT7FC/ dou you think it will be suitable for ereaders? everywhere it says max output either in watts or amps, I only know the max output in volts, which is 4-5V |

Yes, the Anker USB charger you linked will work just fine with any Kobo Reader.

I use an Anker USB charger like that with my iOS devices, Kindles and KA1. It's especially great for travel. I like it very much and have bought other Anker products too.

Bookworm_Girl--Can you tell me how bright the light is on the Anker charger? I've frequently found lights on various chargers to be annoyingly bright--especially in a dark room when I'm trying to sleep!
I have a charger right now that I keep plugged in in the bathroom, the charging lights are bright enough on it that it serves a dual purpose of being a night light very well! |

I should have added that the light is blue when it is plugged in but not charging something and green when it is charging. I also have an older Anker 20W dual-port charger (basically the previous generation model before this one), and it doesn't have a light. I tried searching for one like it because you'd probably like it better, but it looks like they just don't sell it anymore.

I have this 3-port Ikea USB charger and it's very good. Also, it has no light. It can easily charge an iPad.
