What's up with all the tacky western romance novels?
I'm seeing a bunch of tacky western romance novels being purchased for public libraries. So what's up with it all? Romance is bad enough, but to add in a western setting, this just goes beyond normal tacky.

Well I would guess that libraries are buying them because Romance is a popular genre for books (Romance has a huge ebook audience compared to most genres) and they see a demand for them. Have you tried reading one?

I don't know, but I like tacky horror novels - when I'm not reading literary fiction.

Some people do like them (my sis-in-law, her mother, and my mother).

Unfortunately, my mom has a Sony and can't read the Kindle version. My sis-in-law and her mother still read pbooks.

Are your books in pbook or any other formats? Have you suggested them in the Kindle forums here? Maybe even put the link in your signature?

Edit: Just found today's posts about your books and where it was added to the Kindle list of books.

Ha. The flip side is that the romance market space is very competitive. EVERYBODY is a romance writer! Unbroken is 99 cents on Kindle, to get noticed in the crowd. I can say that low pricing works, as the book is consistently in the top 10 westerns (hourly chart), and now hits the top 100 historical romance list occasionally.
