Run KOreader on Windows 10

I want to install this reader on Windows 10 but didn't see an option for it but then found this link: Install on Windows with WSL.

I never heard of WSL and after reading this page went ahead and installed WSL using the command prompt and
Code:
wsl --install
That worked but before I continue, I was wondering if there is another way to get KOreader running or Windows 10? Or if anyone has gone this route using WSL? Or is there an easy tutorial for this (I'm not a Linux expert).

Thanks.

I have installed KOReader on a Windows 10 machine using WSL, so it does work.

As I recall, I followed the steps in the wiki topic "Install on Windows with WSL" to install WSL, then went to topic "Install on Desktop Linux" and used the "Debian and Ubuntu-based distros" section to install KOReader.

I'm not a Linux user, and I had some trouble figuring out where to put ebooks, but did manage to get a few of them into KOReader using a Linux file manager. I didn't take it further than that, as I do my reading on an e-ink device.

Thanks for your helpful post. Haven't had a chance to try this yet but when I have some time I'll give it a try and post results.
