Nobel Laureate Nadine Gordimer dies, aged 90

I have loved many of her books, and also her non-fiction writing. A great loss to South Africa and the literary community, but she has loved a long and interesting life.

I'm currently reading her novel Burger's Daughter; it's strange to hear that an author has died in the midst of my reading her work for the first time.

The next book on my reading list is July's People. It was odd to hear of her passing, when I am about to read her book.
