this would mean that you'll have to be on the latest version of calibre for it to work.

It looks like there may have been a small change to the recipe, but why do I need to update my whole Calibre installation to use an updated recipe? Can I just download the new recipe instead?

that small change in the recipe has been enabled by another set of files with number of lines of code made available by @kovidgoyal in the latest version of calibre.

I tried different things with mechanize, but i kept getting the 403 error.
