Search function on the PRS 600
I was wondering if any of you have any experience with searching through large pdf documents on the 600.
The sole reason i would buy the touch edition is that i want to search trough my (medical) ebooks. It would involve 1200 page pdf's. Can anyone tell me what kind of performance and results these kind of searches yield? Thanks! |

Have you tried searching through a 1200-page PDF with Adobe Reader on a computer? Not sure about you, but for me it is painfully slow. I can only imagine this is going to take forever on PRS-600.

searching a 300 page pdf is perfectly responsive, but no idea how badly it would degrade.

I don't know which kind of documentation you'd like to browse through, but maybe you can "divide" it in some groups of chapters/chapters? Just for the reader? (If it sound silly, I apologise )
