$50 Foxit Reader [OUT OF STOCK]
The Foxit is on sale for $50 at newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16858210001). Clearing it out maybe?

I just noticed the jetBook Lite (white only) has also been lowered to $80 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16858723015). Not record breaking, but still low enough to be very tempting...

Don't do it - this is now an orphaned product (with no future support - or hope of fixing the remaining bugs). I have (had) one - some major bugs remain (mine froze quite often, requiring a hard reset).
Having said that, this reader does a really good job on PDF reflow. I ended up giving it to my son (heading overseas & doesn't read all that fast, so hopefully the freeze won't affect him) & bought a Kindle 3... Rich |

Looks exactly like a PocketBook 301+. I wonder if you could reflash it with PB's firmware?

No, you can't flash it with a different firmware. Stay far away from this piece of junk (I'm so glad I sold mine.)

Yes, I did. The Foxit has to be flashed through their proprietary interface that works on Win 32 and Macs. It isn't as simple as loading a new firmware on a chip and booting from that.
