Bookeen Cybook Opus large epubs
Hello all!

So I still have the Bookeen Cybook Opus ereader and was thinkijng to give it away for someone who would enjoy it but it seems that large EPUB files cayse the reader to crash and reset. Is there a trick to make these work with Calibre? Smaller EPUB files work just fine, I think the limit is 1.5 Mb or so.

By large ePub, do you mean the HTML is too large? If that's the case, do a Calibre ePub > ePub conversion.

By too large I mean the size of the file. Some special variables needed when doing the epub to epub conversion?

Do any of these large ePub validate with Calibre's error checker and epubcheck? They should be able to be read as is if they validate.

As to special settings for ePub > ePub, you have to have a look at the available settings and decide what's best for you.

Got them working! Indeed just the re-conversion from EPUB to EPUB did the trick.
