Is the file available for download anywhere? (other than syncing with Kobo)

I put this fw on my Forma
All good (luckily enough) On running Kobo Utilities - order series shelves (totally unnecessary just messing round), I got Ambiguous Column name - DateModified I think maybe this is because an extra DateModified column has been added to the content table? |

I am pretty sure I know what it is, but, could you post the details of the error from calibre? Press the "Copy to clipboard" button and post that. |

Hi David
I dont have access for a while again to calibre, but not a second DateModified column, a new one that wasnt there before, so if you had DateModified without the table name, it would become ambiguous |

It is an error in the SQL statement being used in the plugin. I have missed qualifying a "DateModified" column. Which is especially annoying as the column is only in the query for debugging purposes and isn't actually used. I'll get a fix out in the next couple of days.

Firmware 4.28.17925
I’ve noticed improvements in the Elipsa’s notebooks with this update, specifically the drawing fields can now be consistently reworked even after being resized in the advanced notebooks. However, it seems to have introduced new bugs in word wrapping if the text field is resized. I’m still exploring. Overall, it’s a good improvement in pen response time and many glitches that I noticed in the notebooks previously seem to have been corrected.

I've finally managed to free up enough time to finally get around to updating the patches for the recent 4.28 versions (they're about a month late since I usually get to them the day of the release). I'm going to do the libnickel patches today, and then I'll release them once @jackie_w finishes the nickel ones.

Nevertheless, I did need to make a minor change to the firmware page so it would actually show 17925 as the latest firmware version. Previously, it was detected by kfwproxy, but the download link wasn't there since Kobo requires the current FW version to be >17826 for it to be eligible for the update (see my note above). Quote:

Patrick-
I indeed had 17826 installed which was the latest posted via your signature link at the time (non-dark mode page) and which you have explained above. |

Am I the only person who is having trouble with this link? I've tried several times in the past several days (using three different browsers), but the connection always times out. I tried the wiki at https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kobo_Firmware_Releases, but it doesn't even list the Elipsa, so I can't download it there. I did find https://kobo-offline.virgulilla.com/ which provides a link to 4.28.17826 but not to 4.28.17925. Is there an alternate link for firmware 4.28.17925?
