U. S. Army: Night Combat.v1.28 May 2014

Night Combat is one of a series of pamphlets in the Historical Series published by the U. S. Army Center of Military History.

"The reader is reminded that publications in the GERMAN REPORT SERIES were written by Germans from the German point of view, and that the procedures, tables of organization and equipment, combat doctrine, and staff methods of the German Army differed widely from those of the U.S. Army."

This pamphlet compares the approaches of the German and Russian armies to night combat during World War II. It helps clarify how the earlier strengths of the German Army became weaknesses which helped tip the tide of combat in World War II.

As a US Government publication, it is in the public domain.

Very interesting. Thank you!

Tables at the end were a bit hard to read though.
