Underlined text not showing up in eBook.
I'm having an issue where text that is formatted with an underline is not showing up with the underline on my Kobo Libra H20.
I have the following plugins installed: KoboTouchExtended (3.6.11), KePub Metadata Reader (3.4.3), and KePub Metadata Writer (3.4.3). I'm on Calibre 7.19 x64 for Windows. The source file is a Word document that has underlining (both manual and via styles), which is converted to ePub by Calibre, then sent to the Libra as a Kobo ePub. I don't think I have any settings in Calibre that would be causing this behavior, but I can't say for sure whether this is a settings issue or a bug. |

Does it show using the Calibre VIEWER?

Better still; why not supply a test word document and resulting ePub, along with the conversion log.

I've included a test word file, the resulting epub file, and then the kepub file that was in the ereader, as well as the log file and a photo of what the ereader shows.

You may want to configure calibre to convert to ePub 3 by default. |

I tried converting it to ePub 3, the issue persists.

Did you look at the sample epub and kepub.epub I attached? On my Sage and Libra Colour, underlines show on both. The first attached image is from the epub version while the second is the kepub version.
Please note that you have to remove solid from the underline class since, as I earlier mentioned, that will cause the WebKit based renderer to not show an underline. |

I tried both of the files you posted and the underlining shows on my device. I removed solid from the underline class and then the underline showed up on my ebook. Is there a way to lock in this change for any new ePubs that are created in Calibre?
