Hi all,
My husband just bought me an ereader for our anniversary present as I am an avid readier and we are avid campers....guess he was sick of lugging boxes of books camping with us!lol! Any how the only one he could find here in the stores in Aussie was an Iriver Story.....It is working well....but Im here to learn how to use it!
Cheers!

I'm still new to the ereader thing too. I bought my wife a Kindle last Christmas and ended up getting myself a Nook a few weeks ago. I'm not familiar with the Iriver but I'm sure you will find others that are using it. I have found loads of information on this forum and I'm sure you will too. And the members here are very knowledgeable and helpful about ereaders and ebooks.

What SneakySnakes is trying to say is that there are only four groups that belong here:

friendly aussies
friendly not aussies
not friendly aussies
not friendly not aussies

I hope I cleared things up.

Good to have your company, Fibee. Your reader is ideal for camping. your natural battery life should see you through a pretty long trip but it's worth checking to see if there's a charger you can use from your car's cigarette lighter for iRiver as there is for several other devices. Otherwise, just give it a half-hour boost at a friendly pub one day with an AC charger. Happy reading. Neil

Hi & welcome to MR. You will love the reader for having easy access to a library and your hubby will love it for not having to lug boxes anymore. A present for the whole family :-)
