ipod touch 3rd gen
Does anyone use this to read ebooks on? if so how successful is it please?
I have a sony drs-600 as my main ebook reader which is great. I am thinking of purchasing an ipod touch (3rd gen) mainly for audiobooks and music but am wondering if it will also be any good for the occasional read while travelling? |

I have an iPhone (same display). For me it's great for reading, but I read before at a PDA, so perhaps I'm not a very good reference.

Thank you, from reading other threads it seems this is a very personal choice, some like it to read from and others don't. I might see if I can see one in action before I decide to buy one.

The screen is very nice on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Reading isn't bad at all, especially if you need a portable reader to take everywhere. For my own reading I prefer a larger screen.
Just FYI - there is a whole forum dedicated to the iPhone and I'm sure you would find some folks with more information there. Check it out. |

There's a thing about iPhone that I like more than my PDA. The iPhone adjust the light in the screen according to the environment, and it's very nice.
