firmware update?
from a post on the Calibre forum, I understand there's a firmware update for the 350, but that it has caused problems for collections. What does the new update fix? and is there any reason to update, or can I just leave my 350 as it is, which seems to me to be just about perfect as it stands.

I only do those if absolutely needed, like open heart surgery. All you need is some system hiccup while it's busy and POOF!! all gone. Been there, done that, cried a lot.

The only fimrware update on the Sony site is the one that came out last March to fix the issue with not being able to open DRMed books.

I have had it on my 650 for months wihtout any problems.

I saw that update icon, however, my 950 was connected, not the 350. So, no go.
