Battery Icon

Is there any hack to remove the battery icon from the status bar for when you're reading a book (I don't mind it on the menu pages)?

Thanks.

I suppose I could just keep covering it with something whilst I read.

Just out of interest, why does it bother you so much?

I'm not sure really. Sometimes it doesn't bother me much.

When I'm reading down the page I occassionally catch the bar with my eye and see how full it is. It knocks my focus for half a second.

Maybe it's just a personal thing, which is why there are no hacks for it.

The only thig wrong with that wee battery meter is that it's outlandishly over-optimistic. If you can't lose it, do yourself a favour and ignore it. Hoots. Neil

Thanks. I guess it's weird what bugs and doesn't bug any given individual. Hope you can find some way of making that better.

Yeah, I'll find some way to ignore it.

I do like the reader, if anyone's getting the wrong implications. And the battery thing really is just a personal thing which I'll probably get over in time.
