recipe output is MOBI even if AZW3 is set as prefered output format.
as the title says.. recipes convert to MOBI even if AZW3 is selected as output.
Do I have to use epub as output and then convert it to azw3 every time?

yes because azw3 does not support periodical formatting. So just use MOBI.
