only 1 to 3 words appear on every second line

Hi, I'm new to ebook readers and this program (great effort Kovid!) but not having too much luck... converted files are not formatted properly - every second line only has 1-3 words appearing. I am using the default settings, but can't find any settings that could solve this problem... any ideas? Cheers, Rick

Tried both lit and txt - the same thing happens

it sounds like a problem of carriage returns in the original text ; the short lines are the wrapped ends of the long lines.

try looking at the source text files and removing extraneous paragraph marks / carriage returns / end of line marks.

What is the command you are using to do the conversions? Are you maybe making the font size too large?

If the text or LIT is legal, please PM me and I'll give you my email so I can have a look at it.
