Calibre sending books to on a device

I am using Calibre to send books to a Kindle (KT2) and to a Lenovo Yoga 2 Android tablet with the Kindle app installed. The KT2 finds the books fine, but the Kindle app does not.

I looked into this on the tablet and found that Calibre is placing the files in a books sub-directory when they are expected in the kindle sub-directory. Is this a configurable option somewhere? I don't see it in the preferences. Alternatively, does anyone know a way to configure the Kindle app to look in the directory that Calibre places the books in?

I don't know anything about the kindle app, but you should be able to use calibre's "connect to folder" option, to have calibre send the books to the folder the kindle app expects.

Tablets are Tablets with user provided reading apps

OTOH A Kindle is a dedicated reading device with known features
There are 4 Kindle drivers to compensate for these features

For a Tablet, the burden is on you to place files in the needed location.
Just because you use a Kindle App on the tablet... It is still a Tablet to Calibre

Connect to Folder is one way
If the driver is not used for other, similar(Android) devices. you can code an RELATIVE path in the templat
eg
Code:
user\books\{title}-{authors}

The Android tablet driver IIRC allows you to specify the folder used as the root folder for sending books.

Is this not possible for Windows tablets?
