Finally pulled the trigger on Midnight Blue.

I saw Entourage raised the price on all the colors, so now they're all $549 + shipping. You can get them for less through eBay with free shipping, or if you'd like Midnight Blue, educational-software.com has them for just over $500 shipped, which is the best deal.

So I bought one. This is in addition to a Samsung netbook which I bought explicitly for writing away from the laptop; I'm hoping I can ease some back pain by not being forced to write in a chair all the time, and some relieve eye strain by using the e-ink screen.

Hope giving those sites isn't a no-no; Entourage should at least be happy I finally did it

and those prices seemed fair.

Sorry if my rantings had anything to do with the pricing adjustments

When many companies are lowering their prices on their eReaders it's unfortunate that Entourage upped theirs. I realize the Midnight Blue is just matching their other prices (for the other colors) but it would have been better the other way around.

I guess the $499 price was an "early adopter/beta tester discount". I think Entourage would have been better off advertising that fact all along though, if that was their plan.

check bestbuy 499+6 delivery? it should be priced at USD 400 to conquer the market.

Unless you're an existing giant like Apple or Google, you don't want to conquer the market selling at a loss. Entourage has to pay back its angels or it's caput.

Shipped yesterday, according to FedEx, and I got it today around 3:30...not a bad turnaround time

now I just need to find good screen and case protectors for it.
