Prevent Calibre from merging metadata results?

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the way Calibre merges downloaded metadata.

Searching around the forum has told me that Calibre searches on the selected sources and then combines the results if they share name/author and identifiers, picking the longest available summary.

But the longest summary is often pretty bad. Filled with fluff ("Bestselling Author" etc) or badly formatted.

Is there any way to prevent Calibre from combining results? I've found the option to keep more than one entry per source, but that's no use if I'm getting only one result that's from three sources, but smushed together.

The main Metadata download screen is overall.
You can select and configure each source for finer control.
