'The New Yorker' not showing cover page

Hi, question on the cover page for The New Yorker. In Calibre, the cover page displays just fine after download.

However when syncing The New Yorker magazine to my portable reader, the cover page for each issue is blank. All other content from the magazine syncs to the reader, except for the cover.

Does the recipe need to be modified to fix this? Thanks.

Your reader presumably has a bug in its image renderer that cant handle the cover image. From your signature I am guessing you are using SONY PRS these are pretty old/unsupported these days, so you are likely out of luck.

Thanks for the quick response and all your work in this forum. Still love the Sony Readers, I'll live with the bug... lol

It is a bit strange that 'The New Yorker' is the only publication cover image that does not display on the older Sony Readers. The Economist, The Week and other cover images load just fine. Must be something specific to 'The New Yorker' cover (which is a shame because their cover art is so good).
