Free (Kindle/ePub) The New Order by Chris Weitz [YA Sci-Fi Dystopian Adventure]

The New Order by actor/writer/producer Chris Weitz (ISFDB, IMDB, Wikipedia), whom you may know best for American Pie, Antz, About A Boy, or one of the films in the Twilight franchise, depending on what you're most likely to watch, is the 2nd in his The Young World trilogy of YA sfnal dystopian adventures, free courtesy of publisher Hachette's Little, Brown & Company imprint.

Currently free to pre-order (slated for June 16th, 2015) @ Amazon & Google Play (both available to Canadians).

NB: There's a possibility that this will turn out to not be a pre-order for the full book, but instead for a glorified chapter excerpt "preview", as currently exists in the Google store for the 1st book, which also has two different listings for this 2nd title.

However, that 1st book excerpt doesn't even seem to exist in the iTunes, Kobo, Amazon, and B&N stores, and Google occasionally has double listings for various titles (vide Jeffrey Round and Barbara Fradkin's books from Dundurn Press), so if you've got the necessary payment info in your account which Amazon & Google insist upon for pre-orders, you might as well give it a try on the chance that you do get the full book as a probably-glitch freebie.

Description
They thought they were the only ones left. They were wrong.

After the unexpected revelation at the end of the first book, Donna and Jefferson are separated. Jefferson returns to NYC and tries to bring a cure to the Sickness back to the Washington Square tribe, while Donna finds herself in England, facing an unimaginable new world. Can the two reunite and prevent an even greater disaster than the Sickness?

This second book in The Young World trilogy will keep you at the edge of your seat.

Thanks, I preordered because... Dystopian, but I'm not sure I want to buy the first.
