Epub Reading Software Differences

Attached is a file generated by Calibre.

It looks drastically different in different reading softwares.

I can't set margins in Calibre's, the margins are wide in DE but tolerable, can't even open it in FBReader.

The real concern I have is opening it in Sony's Ebook Library - because that's what it looks like on the sony prs700 - the text is about 1.25" wide, with 2+" margins all the way around.

I'm uploading the epub, the source html (zipped), and the cover jpg. Maybe someone can make it better than I can.

What am I doing wrong?

Ah. Turns out Calibre was forwarding Word's @Page style rules into the css, which some reading softwares (i.e., Sony's) took to heart and did stuff with. That I didn't want to. and there was no way to get them out without hand-excising them from a text editor (yuck).

The latest version of Calibre strips out @page rules.
