Ohiyesa (Charles Eastman): Old Indian Days. 17 Oct 2007
Ohiyesa (Charles Eastman, February 19, 1858 - January 8, 1939) was a a Native American author, physician and reformer. He was active in politics and helped found the Boy Scouts of America.
Old Indian Days is in two parts -- the first is about the warriors and the second is about the women. It is a wonderful insight to the ways of the Indian from their perspective. (Of the four Ohiyesa books, this was the hardest to format.) This work is assumed to be in the Life+70 public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution.
