Recommend books like TV

I'd really like to give up watching TV and wonder if there are any book series that could help me.

I'm looking for a book series with a strong male and female lead that have a will-they-wont-they sexual tension. Like Castle or Bones.

Or something pretty formulatic like Law & Order. Crime, Fantasy or SciFi are ok generas.

I'd like suggestions that are easy to read that will help me wind down a long day at the office.

What have you got?

My best reccommendatio is Robert K. Tanebaum's Butch Karp Marlene Ciampi series.

Not primarily romantic but sufficientromance, with lead and supporting characters alll strong and mostly likeable and believable.

Lots of variety in each with usually more than one plotline. can be read stand-alone

Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe books are good relaxing reading. Sraightforward crime-solving interspersed with a lot of amusing parts. Generally less than 200 pages (pb) with many volumes containing three seperate complete mystery stories.

Both should be mainly available as library ebooks and paperbacks.

How about first trying out the TV manual - to find the section that discloses the whereabouts, and correct operation of, the ON/OFF switch ........

That should do it ........

If you like Bones you'll probably like Kathy Reichs' book series. First book is Deja Dead.

Several of Richard Castle's Nikki Heat books are available as print and ebooks. Also a serialized Derrick Storm novel.

If you like Law and Order type shows, James Andrus'' PERFECT WOMAN, PERFECT VICTIM, etc is a pretty good crime series.

You might also want to check out Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series.
