Greetings from Michigan USA

I've been interested in E-books for several years now, but have yet to actually buy one. I've got boxes and boxes of books in my attic and several libraries close to school and home so I am never at a shortage for the printed word. The thing that keeps holding me back is having to buy electronic versions of books I already own.
Now, once again I find myself tripping (literally sometimes) over piles of books under my desk or beside my bed and can't help thinking that there has got to be a better way and the only answer I keep coming up with is an e-book.
So, here I am to learn whats on the market and see who has the most comprehensive e-library that I can use to make the transition from paper to electrons.
