Help Please, Iriver Story Hd unable to connect to Google ebooks

Hey Guys, I can't connect to Google ebookstore, every time I sign in (and I've tried it several times, with the correct password) it says 'Sign in failed. Please try again.'

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I wouldn't expect any store/cloud functionality to still be operational with this old reader.

Never used google ebookstore myself, but the german ebook vendor who originally sold the story hd in germany, it all turned into dust years and years ago.

If you are still using the story hd then use it for reading. Don't try to update the firmware (it likes to brick), don't copy books in the internal memory (it bricks when names of files/folders/paths are too long), stick to SD card and fill it with calibre.

It's still a very nice ereader if you don't need frontlight.

Thanks for the reply frostschutz, my sister gave it to me, and she had it for several years before me. I got the bookstore to work once, but then I updated the firmware though wifi, and since then I can't use the bookstore.
