Bible in Hebrew/English for Kindle?
Can anyone identify a Kindle-compatible Hebrew Bible? All Hebrew, or Hebrew/English? It is not clear to me whether Kindle can display Hebrew or other alphabets. Thanks.

I've tried making a Hebrew/English Bible but no go.
The Kindle cannot display Hebrew out of the box. I am not even sure if the font hack would work because of the right-to-left issue. The Greek (modern and ancient) is supported on the other hand. Some other languages that are not supported out of the box (Cyrillic, Chinese, Japanese) will work with the font hack (but the keyboard will remain in English). If you know a lot of people who read Hebrew, you can all send requests to Amazon to add support for Hebrew in the Kindle. Amazon has responded to some feature requests in the past.

I wrote about this innovative publication (it was a Hebrew Tanakh on the Kindle with Direct Verse Jump) a while back. However, Amazon has killed this book (they do not like Hebrew). I am so upset with them. They allow tons of poorly formatted books but when somebody does an excellent job to overcome their issues, they pull the rug from under the feet. Again, this is not an OSNOVA publication but I have communicated with the guy who did the conversion. It was an interesting way to solve the lack of support for Hebrew on the Kindle.

Hebrew with KF8
Does anyone know if the introduction of KF8 will enable Hebrew for the Kindle? I'm hoping right-to-left will work now.

fumanchu314159, there is no announcement about that. So, we would have to wait and see. However, we should distinguish two things: (i) Kindle's technical ability to display whatever language; and (ii) Amazon's "official" support for that language on the Kindle.
As an example, Kindle 3 can display Greek (including polytonic), Russian, Chinese, etc. However, Amazon refuses to "support" those languages. This means that if there are any issues with these languages, you are on your own. It also means that Amazon would not allow books in these languages to be sold in its store (I've tried). Software "unofficial" support of these languages did not require some special coding on the part of Amazon (Unicode was already supported). All they had to do is include the additional Unicode ranges into the font. Implementation of RTL languages would most likely require additional effort and expense for them, so I do not expect them to include the RTL support ... unless in some unlikely scenario they decide to enter RTL markets. RTL support in KF8?
According to Amazon, KF8 will support the "direction" CSS attribute -- presumably meaning that it will be able to handle RTL text? If so, this would be a major step to enabling Hebrew.
