Seeking Research Participants for Feedback on E-Reader Software
I thought talking to an e-reader community would be the best way to get some participants for getting feedback on some new e-reader software.
Participants will be asked to answer 10 questions, perhaps less, on the app/concept. This shouldn't take any more than 10 minutes with a final panel to put in any additional feedback if you have any. To be clear there will be a non-disclosure agreement since this app is not available to the public yet. Secondly there is no monetary compensation for your participation but when the app is released you will be able to download the paid version for free. This is strictly voluntary, but like I said, I figure this would be the best place to get some participants. We're just looking for around 10-15 participants. I'll let everyone know once we've gotten the needed participants. Thanks! |

Just a heads-up for anyone considering this. I know nothing about this poster or their app but please be aware that installing some unvetted program onto your computer is a good way to get your digital life hacked (key strokes logged, passwords stolen, webcam peeped, etcetera). We have plenty of these problems with supposedly known-good software (e.g. Heartbleed bug).
Again, I am not saying anything bad about this new poster's intentions. Just try to make informed choices. |

When you activate your sandbox, everything done to your computer is forgotten as soon as you reboot. I use it for anything I download from sites like Giveaway of the Day, not only because of Malware, but because most of the stuff turns out to be useless and I don't want to have to worry about tracking down all the changes and crap installed to my system. Instead I just reboot and *poof* the software was never even there. |

Both Android and iOS
Thanks for asking. It will be for both platforms.
And don't worry we won't ask you to download anything. This research is based more around some of the concepts of the application and what it does as opposed to actual software testing. So this is literally a small questionnaire and that's it. Nothing to fear people As a side note though we may do actual app testing in the future. But if were to do that it would probably be more local based with people in person as opposed to remotely. If it were a web app we would probably run remote tests but not for a phone/tablet app. |

I've answered a lot worse surveys. At least I'll know what this one is about before I start it. LOL I'll answer your questions.
