I've found a directory where jars with the assests of the UI on the kindle are stored. /opt/amazon/ebook/booklet/ I've looked in much older posts from 2013 and found that the UI image files were in /opt/amazon/ebook/img/ui/ However this doesn't apply to me as I cannot find that directory.
If anyone could help me find the correct jars and images within them to fully customize the homescreen for instance that would be great. I wouldn't mind coding and making a cross-platform app that lets you customize your kindles UI easily without having to dive into advanced things. Thanks ![]() |

Hey, did you have any luck with this?
I was also thinking of having a nicer UI on the Kindle and at least seeing less of the store, after seeing some of the nice things on Kobo readers. |
