Also ich hab ihn im Laden getestet, und fand die 99€ die damals dran standen ziemlich zuviel, für das was er leistet, 69 ist so einigermassen OK

Spatzi, nicht jeder ist so ein begnadeter Fummler wie Du, mancheiner will nur lesen mit seinem Dingelchen und nicht ständig dran rumspielen Und zum Lesen reicht er doch, oder?

An sich klingt der Preis super - aber man sollte beachten, dass der Reader kein eInk-Display hat, sondern ein (nicht hinterleuchtetes) LCD. Also wohl nicht mit den "üblichen" Readern zu vergleichen ... leider, denn für den Preis hätte ich wohl ernsthaft über ein Zweitgerät für die Familie nachgedacht ...

Du hast Recht der Aluratek hat nur ein LCD, welches aber nicht so schlecht ist. Die größe des Display ist etwas größer als ein 5 Zoll Reader. Hier mal ein Vergleich: EBX 500 (5 Zoll) 6,6 x 10,8 cm EBX 700 (7 Zoll) 8,7 x 15,4 cm Mobi (7 Zoll) 8,7 x 15,4 cm Aluratek (6 Zoll ?) 7,8 x 10,5 cm Softwareversion 0.19 und Patch 18, Wir haben den Aluratek libre pro (seit 6.Mai 2011 am 31.5.2011 das dritte mal geladen) Akku hält ca. 7-9 Tage bei täglichen Lesen von 2- 3 Stunden. Der Akku des Aluratek hält von meinen ebook Readern am längsten ! Habe mich bei unserer Stadtbib. angemeldet und zwei Bücher als epub (Leihfrist 14 Tage) online ausgeliehen, auf den Aluratek geladen und das lesen funktioniert ohne Probleme. Zur Zeit habe ich 107 Bücher (gekaufte, ausgeliehene und free ebook) auf den Aluratek, Speicherkapazität: von 90.8 = 36,9 MB frei. Das sei dir auch ungenommen, trotzdem muss man objektiv sagen, daß es inzwischen Reader für 139€ gibt, die den Aluratek doch sehr sehr alt aussehen lassen, sowohl in Bezug auf das Display, wie auch bei Speicherkapazität oder Seitenwechselzahl, daher wohl auch der Preisverfall.
Trotzdem würde ich heute für ähnliches Geld eher einen der Netronix Klone empfehlen, oder gleich auf den neuen Kobo warten |

Sehr leicht, handig, universell und ausreichned
Ich habe inzwischen einige e-Reader ausprobiert, einige davon habe ich als Technikfreak und Leseratte zugleicht immer noch in meinem Besitz. Die meisten mit e-Ink, ein paar als LCD-schirme - und einen einzigen mit "e-Paper" von Aluratek.
Das Problem von verschiedenen anderen Readern ist die Kompatibilität. Kindle kann nur PRC/Mobi (Amazonformat) und will im Zweifelsfall in das Format umgewandelt werden. Andere können nur Epub. Aber nicht alle Umwandlungen sind von EPUB nach MOBI genauso gut... Und wenn es um Fremdsprachen geht, hört der Spaß meistens auf. Und PDF? Geht mit der Option fliessender Text bei Aluratec besser als beim Kindle. Alle Zeichen werden in richtigen Formaten richtig dargestellt (funktioniert sonst nur bei den Touchtablett-Readern dank der Anroid-Programme), passende Buchstabengröße kein Problem, 3 prima Möglichkeiten zu blättern, ein kleines, leichtes Gerät, das sich beim Lesen stundenlang in einer Hand halten läßt... Nach meiner Erfahrung ein sehr guter Kompromis, mit dem man keine Funktionseinbüßen hat. Wer noch zögert, sich einen e-Reader anzuschaffen, kann hier eigentlich nichts verkehrt machen... |
