I just finished a LaTeX package that generates PDFs optimized for the iRex Iliad.

The LaTeX style file
Sample pdf

To use the style file do a \usepackage(iliad).

Thanks; I use my own one, but maybe it helps others.

The crux of delight is to choose the right
\setlength{} parameters.

I'm a fan of \usepackage{bookman}. imho this looks most nicely.

Did the same (using the geometry package); it's on the iRex download section.

I mainly wrote it to convert books that come with tex source.

I tried it with "The not so short introduction to LaTeX2e " and "How to think like a computer scientist" and it worked great.

The crux of what? To get the proper screen size? Do you mind giving a full example of it's use?

thanks
