Das wäre in der Tat nützlich... unsere Suchmaschine baut derzeit auf die eingebaute Mysql-Fulltext-Engine auf. Mehr dazu hier:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/...xt-search.html Da Fulltext auf Indizes aufbaut, bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob in diesem Zusammenhang Regex überhaupt möglich ist (weiss jemand mehr?). Normalerweise wird bei Mysql mit Regex jede Textzeile einzel durchgegangen (also ohne Index), was sich nicht wirklich gut skaliert. |

Eine deutsche Sektion im Forum ist sehr schön, sollte aber trotzdem zumindest nach den verschiedenen Readern untergliedert werden. Derzeit ist es hier (im deutschen Bereich) zwar noch recht übersichtlich, aber das wird schon werden und dann kann ich einfacher zu dem Reader und Thema meiner Wahl klicken ... |

ate, da gebe ich Dir 100% Recht. Sobald wir eine "kritische Grösse" erreicht haben, werden wir den deutschen Bereich untergliedern. Das wird sehr einfach sein, da wir ja bereits jetzt durch prefixes einzelne Themen kategorisieren. Übrigends ist es auch jetzt schon möglich, nach diesen prefixes zu filtern.

Ich bin nicht sicher daß eine Trennung nach Sprachen das Beste ist. Das deutsche Forum sollte sich auf die Themen beschränken, die nicht von internationalem Interesse sind. Andernfalls muss man verschiedene Foren abklappern um alle Informationen zu bekommen. Ich denke hier an technische Hilfe, Hacks, etc..
Die Idee einen deutschen, französischen etc. Forumbereich zu haben ist großartig für Diskussionen die ausschließlich den lokalen Sprachraum betreffen, andere sollten im englischen Teil geführt werden. Deshalb ist es wahrscheinlich vorteilhaft das deutsche Forum so zu unterteilen, daß die Redundanz mit dem englischen Forum minimiert wird. Wir können natürlich auch ganz auf Deutsch umsteigen :-) |

aru, genau, deswegen haben wir uns auch entschlossen, zunächst keine Untergruppierungen in den Non-English Foren einzuführen. Es würde wohl eher zu Redunanz und Unübersichtlichkeit führen, als dass jemandem damit geholfen wäre.
Wenn wir bestimmte, Sprachraum-betreffende Themen lokalisieren können, die immer wieder neu auftauchen, dann können wir dazu Unterforen starten. Ich denke, es wird sich mit der Zeit automatisch ergeben. Quote:

Ich persönlich beginne gerade damit ein paar Bücher, die noch nicht in der Public Domain sind zumindest für mich privat über den Scanner zu jagen und mir ist bei der Suche nach Beiträgen zu OCR und Soft- / Hardware zum Thema "Buch zu eBook" aufgefallen, daß es zwar einen Bereich für digitale Formatkonvertierung gibt, aber keinen der sich explizit mit OCR und dem erstellen von eBooks aus Papierbüchern beschäftigt gibt. Vielleicht ist dieses Forum auch nicht ganz der rechte Ort dafür (?).

Klasse Idee. Wir sind ohnehin gerade dabei, unser Forum umzustrukturieren.
In der nächsten Phase werden wir zwar erst besprechen, wie wir mit E-book Tools vorgehen (wie z.B. calibre); aber danach werden wir weitergehen und Forum Sektionen vorschlagen, die jetzt noch nicht vorhanden sind. Bis dahin habe ich mir Dein Vorschlag mal notiert. |
