Here is a short story by Rafael Sabatini. It features the pirate Dragut-Reis otherwise known as “The Drawn Sword of Islam."

Very clever story that takes place in 1550 and features Dragut-Reis getting more than he bargained for when he tries to take over a ship.

This was posted earlier, but this version has updated formatting and I also added a linked table of contents. My original post was inadvertently deleted when the power here went off while I was updating that post. So sorry for the second posting.

This really is a great quick read if you enjoy Sabatini. Enjoy!
