To finish a galley...or not to finish a galley

I received a galley and I’m about 10 pages in and...well...I just don’t care.

My question to you is how long have you stuck it out with a galley that hasn’t piqued your interest by page 10-20? Do you feel obligated to finish it because it’s a galley? Curious as to your thoughts.

No. If the writing style puts you off or the story telling is poor, you have enough. Don't waste your time slogging through a chore of a book.

Depending on why you stopped reading after ten pages, you may have enough for a review.
