Can't install on Kobo Aura n514

Hello, i've got 2 Aura n514 and i can't install Koreader on any of it. I tried auto and manual method : all seems to work fine on my terminal.

  inflating: /run/media/sylvain/KOBOeReader/.adds/koreader/libs/libjpeg.so.8  
  inflating: /run/media/sylvain/KOBOeReader/.adds/koreader/libs/libdjvulibre.so.21  
* Sanity check . . .
* More sanity checks . . .
* Flush to storage device . . .
* Installation successful!
* Please make sure to eject & unplug your device safely!

The reader reboots, i have new books, new directories, but no icon to launch koreader.
Is it because i use them without accounts? To start them, i had to run

INSERT INTO user(UserID,UserKey) VALUES('1','');

with mysql3

Any ideas? Thanks !

Try using a dummy account. Remember that Kobo does not check the account for validity so ima.pseudonym@nehwon.org as an example will be accepted.

Have you tried using the One-Click Install Packages for KOReader & Plato thread in the Kobo Developer's forum. It will install NickelMenu and KFMON as well as your choice of KOReader and/or Plato. Using the install scripts in the 2nd message in the thread does a very decent job of automating the procedure.

You never want to fake register. 2 or 3 times it's all gone pair shaped. So don't do it. There is absolutely no reason not to do a proper registration.

I've tried that... the code on my first message is the end of the install. All seems good, but i don't have any launcher after reboot. Il have a try with an account this afternoon. (sorry for my english, i'm french, and tired...)

Hello! I had very old firmwares on them. I couldn't get wifi work properly. So I updated fw first, wich made wifi ok. Then I logged to activate them and reinstalled koreader... It worked! thanks !

In Kobo Clara Colour, after registering it, the eReader starts to work so, literally, laggy and buggy at the point as I prefer to lose account "advantages" (including Pocket; it won't be work unless you register the device).
