Apollo has multiple eBook Readers
Apolo XXI seems to be the first company to have multiple eBook Readers and even multiple brands. They are in Spain.
http://www.apoloxxi.com/epages/apolo...jectID=1601008 They have Cybook, iLiad, and their own rebranded HanLin. Dale |

To be fair, tribble's justread.de sells both the iLiad and the Cybook, and has been doing so for a while, AFAIK. But yes, Apollo XXI seem to be the first to complete the trifecta by also selling the Hanlin/lBook V3.

Do I detect traces of sarcasm there?
Where do you get those numbers? Vol. 1 has about 300 e-books for 325 EUR, and so, I suppose, has Vol. 2 (even if the "complete list of titles included in Volume 2" contains only about 100 entries) making it 600 (or at least 400) for the price of 650 EUR. Anyway, the e-books they sell are in PDF format, which makes me disinclined to take them up on that particular offer, even though it looks increasingly likely that I'll order a V3 from them next month. Also, being classics, most of those books are bound to be available from manybooks.net or even this forum here. |

sarcasm is rampant in the original post but look at: http://www.apoloxxi.com/epages/apolo...0Especiales%22
for the special offer that includes a free iLiad. Dale |

I was being humourous.
as is pointed out if you buy a reader you then get the ebooks for a very fair price, but the assumed value of 600 odd euros if you were to by them seperatly is a little silly. and to offer a 'free' ebook reader if you buy them is great! Its like payin $20,000 dollars for a car stereo.... but you do get a freee car with is so its ok. |

To get back to the original topic, they are now also apparently preparing to sell the Sony PRS-505 both in silver and blue, with a one year warranty. At EUR 450, the price seems a bit steep to me.
As others have mentioned, though, their web site could use an overhaul: depending on which page you look at, the V3 is either in stock or out of stock... |
