Your SONY reader main memory is not being detected in windows. This indicates a problem with either your reader, or with your windows. calibre needs the main memory to be detected, or it will not work

New user here, I am having the same error. I've tried it on my tower and my laptop. I don't have another eReader to try though, can anyone recommend a possible solution? Thank you.

Basically if you can't access your devices main memory using windows explorer, you wont be able to access it using calibre.
