CAlibre 4.0 - Can't open database file errors
Upgraded to 4.0, tried to add some books and got an error (pasted below), went to library maintenance and check library, got the same sort of error about not being able to open the database file.
Code:

Full path is d:\librarycopy\Library for the main one.

Yup! Checked and it's not marked as read only or hidden.

Try disabling your AV and see if that might be causing the problem.

Nope, disabled all shields and active processes for the antivirus, still the same error. Even when swapping to a different library.
Note, I didn't change anything when I installed 4, just downloaded and installed. Same error now when I try to run 3.34 (the one I upgraded from), I get the same error about adding to the libraries, etc. Chris |

Try creating a new library, if possible on another drive, and try to add a book to it.

Nah, no optical discs on the PC. Just lots and lots of hard drives. I'll try the backup idea mentioned above and let you guys know how it goes!
Thanks! |

Wow this is gonna take a while. I'll update in a day or two. If anyone is looking for programming feedback, some sort of percentage or something would be awesome. I'm just looking at a solid bar with a warning that this is gonna be a three step process.
