Export Some of Calibre Library?

I want to copy about 100 books from my calibre library on one computer to another calibre running on another computer, preferably including metadata.

Should I highlight the desired books, then save to, for example, a USB drive? If so, how do I import to calibre on the new machine?

If save is appropriate, which save function (save to disk, save to disk in a single directory, etc.)?

Obviously there's a function to export the entire library, but not to export only a part.

First go to Calibre Library > Switch/create library...
Set the location to an empty folder on the USB drive.
Select Create empty library + Tick Copy structure

Return to the original library and select your books, right click and pick "Copy to library..."

That worked.

Created on original. Copied books. Opened that newly created library on the new machine. Copied from that to library existing on new machine. Manually removed duplicates.

Thanks
